This project promises to improve the quality of children’s creative and imaginative writing within the Primary Curriculum. It focuses on enhancing vocabulary through art- work, oral rehearsal and drama while submerging children into a world of descriptive writing.

The project focuses on training teachers within the Primary Years and then working with them to personalise this teaching to their classes and the topics they want to cover. We work together to team-teach and model good quality writing to produce the best outcome from the pupils.

We have been running this training in various schools as well as training for NQT teachers for the past 12 years in the Enfield borough. This is a popular and successful project and is always thoroughly enjoyed by the children. It follows a journey into writing so the children become fully engaged in the topic and therefore are excited to write.
